Measles Vaccination
|

Infectious Disease Surveillance Center reported that measles epidemic is spreading in Saitama and Tokyo.
In Japan, measles occurs from late winter into early summer with it's peak between April and June.
Every year large and small scale epidemics occur all over the country.
There is no cure for measles, but it can be prevented with vaccination.
Consider vaccination if you have not already had measles and are not immune.

Pneumococcal Vaccination

Pneumococcal vaccination is recommended for the following persons;
Adults 65 years of age and older.
Persons > 2 years of age with cardiac disease, diabetus mellitus, lung disease,
splenic dysfunctions, liver dysfunctions, or immunosuppressive conditions.
